Find Your Community. Prioritize Yourself. Move with Us.

Motherhood Moves was created to help busy Long Island mamas who are struggling to find the perfect balance between their hectic schedules and their desire to prioritize their physical and mental well-being. As a mom of three, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to make time for yourself—which is why I’ve designed our programs to meet you where you are and support you every step of the way.

Our classes are more than just workouts. they’re an experience designed to help you move with confidence, build strength, and reconnect with your body through every stage of motherhood. We focus on strength, stability, and functional movement, blending low-impact exercises with intentional breathwork to support core and pelvic floor health. Each session is designed to be effective, safe, and empowering, ensuring you leave feeling stronger, more energized, and in tune with your body.

Strong & Centered  || This class blends full-body strength training with core and pelvic floor engagement, helping you build muscle, improve stability, and enhance posture. Designed for all fitness levels, it includes modifications for pregnancy and postpartum, plus the option to bring your little one along for a Mama & Me experience.

Restored & Centered || A dynamic, low-impact workout that blends endurance and functional fitness with mindfulness techniques, gentle stretching, and breathwork. Expect a mix of controlled strength exercises, safe core movements, and gentle cardio to boost energy, improve mobility, and build resilience for the demands of motherhood. This class also incorporates labor prep and recovery techniques, helping you move with intention while unlocking habits that fuel your mind, body, and soul. Child-free unless necessary.

All classes prioritize meeting you where you are.

Nicole Garcia

Founder & Pre/Post Natal Fitness Specialist

Nicole has always loved helping others—first as a special education and ABA teacher, supporting students from birth through adulthood, and later in the gym, where fitness became her passion. No matter the setting, Nicole was always the one cheering others on, helping them push through challenges, and creating a sense of community.

When she became a stay-at-home mom, that part of her didn’t change. Nicole naturally found herself bringing moms together—whether it was for a workout, a wellness challenge, or simply to share some motivation or recipes. But something deeper kept calling her forward. She understood firsthand how hard it can be to find a supportive, judgment-free space for pre- and postpartum moms. Nicole envisioned a place where moms could focus on themselves without guilt, move their bodies, feel strong, and connect with women who truly understand—a place where they could build sustainable habits for themselves and their families.

And so, Motherhood Moves was born—not just as a fitness platform, but as a movement built around empowering mamas in every facet of their journey. From functional movement and proper nutrition to mental well-being and navigating the many transitions of motherhood, Motherhood Moves is a space where every mom—whether she's returning to work or adjusting to life at home—feels supported, seen, and valued. Rooted in movement, fueled by community, and led by love, this business is Nicole’s way of making sure no mom has to navigate the motherhood journey alone.
